Schemes of work are very useful insofar as they can assist you to plan ahead and read the necessary material to guarantee your knowledge will be sufficient to study a future section of the syllabus. The timing of each activity may well vary due to trips out of school, UN day and other, as yet not announced, events at school. Nevertheless, I do suggest you look through your year's pacing schedule and decide if you are getting ready for the next chapter to be taught.

As I have stated, it is not one hundred per cent certain that each activity will occur on the day planned. However, each topic does follow a particular order in your textbook or syllabus. Each year group has a scheme of work each term in the scholastic year.
